On Crossing Borders Global Studies you will cross your personal, cultural, and ideological borders to become an aware global citizen.
You will test your ideas and build your capacity to act in the world. You will discover the global perspective in all that you do.
You will examine globalisation through the lens of ethics (fair trade and the free movement of peoples), socio-cultural issues (freedom of speech and religious and fundamentalism), the environment (and international efforts to manage it), and post September 11 conflict issues. You will examine the larger geo-political forces at work in the world and observe how they play out in the economic lives of people worldwide.
Live and study in an international environment. Receive lectures and workshops by experts in the field. Do individual and group projects. Join the two week study tours around Denmark. Choose your practice place at Danish NGOs/institutions.
In addition to the Global Studies, you can join arts and graphics, dance class, international current affairs, outdoor life, Danish language and more.
Global activism will be one possibility after this course. Global awareness will be a certainty
